About the Conference |
As
a powerful country of importing and utilizing global metal
scraps, China’s secondary metal industry attracts international
counterparts’ attention, and becomes important area of accelerating
recycling economy development. The world put high focus on
Chinese metal scraps market which occupies 1/3 world trade
volume. In May 2006, BIR select Beijing China to hold annual
conference for the first time, collected about 1600 delegates
from all over the world, created BIR’s record of most participation,
and most powerful lineup since its establishment in 1948.
The conference organizer announced: the annual forum will
open on 7-9 Nov. 2006 in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, China
which is the largest base for dismantling imported metal scraps.
At that time, hundreds of Chinese enterprise’s managers will
come to Taizhou with global counterparts, get familiar with
the development and general trend. At the same time, Chinese
government officials who in charge of secondary metals industry
will also attend this meeting, to discuss and communicate
with internal and international delegates about concerning
industrial policy and management of metal scraps, the delegates
can also talk and negotiate with officials face to face freely.
Each participator who wants to seek trade cooperation opportunity
will have quiet environment, such as: inside and outside the

the General Administration of Customs, the General Administration
of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, and the
State Administration of Taxation will offer presentations
and pertinent answer. Senior experts and scholars will report
on secondary metal markets, industry and technology. This
forum will be a milestone of international communication and
cooperation, impressed a lot to each honorable guest. Why
